"Tell me that you at least figured out who she is." Emily challenges me. It’s quite unreal to have someone standing in front of me and not show an ounce of fear. If anything, Emily is challenging me.
"I have a vague suspicion." I admit. "But I still don't see why you seem to blame her for something that genuinely had nothing to do with her." I catch sight of Stella now that I'm not hiding in the shadows anymore and my heart seizes.
Call it a shred of respect for Emily since I did love her more than life itself once, or maybe a last remainder of the same feelings for my brother. That’s all that's keeping me from tearing her apart right now. What she did to Stella… this is unforgivable, and at some point she will pay.
