Elliot “Mom, I guess you are going to be a Nana sooner than I thought you were. And it’s a boy,” I tell her as soon as I enter the house. She was sitting on the piano bench in the foyer. And it really doesn’t take much to figure out why she was there.    “That’s so great! How soon though? I have a lot more things I need to get and do before the baby arrives,” she says, unable to contain her excitement.    “April 15th.”   “But that’s only three months away. I thought you said that you were earlier than that. I am so behind on shopping!”   “No, no more things. Please. I have a lot to do before the baby comes, and I don’t need any more things to complicate things. Life's complicated enough,” I tell her, giving her the good ‘I’m being one hundred percent serious” look before she nods
