Devin I see her face fall at my words. The strong demeanor she is trying to portray crumbling down in front of me.    “I’m not going out on a date, Devin,” she says honestly, I can see some pity in her eyes.    “I don’t need you to pity me,” I tell her through gritted teeth.    “Can’t you just get another mate? It seems silly just sticking around for me,” she tells me. It’s obvious those words were meant to hurt me just as much as it hurt her. The truth is, neither of us are ready to move on. We still care deeply about each other but instead of working through our differences, we have this neither here or there type of relationship.
