(Greyson) I was done waiting. The next day dragged on. Philosophy class was a blur. I didn’t hear half of what the professor said, and I didn’t care. My leg kept bouncing, and I kept checking the clock. I wasn’t going to let another day go by with Christian pretending we didn’t exist. He thought he could leave and that would be the end of it. But he was wrong. He could run across the whole damn world, and we’d still find him. Because we’re his mates. He didn’t get to walk away from that.
