(Christian)
I woke up with a jolt, the kind that makes your heart race like you’ve just been caught doing something wrong.
My mind was still foggy, but something was off. My body felt… weird. I blinked a few times, trying to focus on anything around me, but then it hit me—there were limbs everywhere.
I was tangled up in a mess of arms, legs, and bodies, and it took a few seconds before I could even figure out who the hell they were.
Panic started to rise in my chest. I could feel the heat of someone’s breath on my neck, someone else’s foot digging into my side, and the weight of someone’s leg pressing down on my own.
I froze. My head snapped to the side, and I realized with a sinking feeling that I was in a very compromising position with all three of them—Greyson, Mason, and Jaxon.
I’d fallen asleep alone, right? Or at least I thought I had. But now… now I was stuck in some sort of a puzzle.
I couldn’t tell who was who at first. There was a leg draped over my waist, and I could tell it was Greyson’s because he always wore those damn sweatpants that made it impossible to forget his long legs.
His head was buried in the crook of my neck, and I could feel his breath on my skin, which made my whole body stiffen. I didn’t know whether to scream or just pass out from sheer embarrassment.
Then there was Mason, whose arm was draped over my chest in a way that made it impossible to move. I tried to shift, but his grip tightened.
Mason, being the heavy sleeper he was, just hummed in his sleep, as if this was all normal.
And then there was Jaxon, who was sprawled on top of me like some kind of... well, like a giant human blanket.
His head was resting on my shoulder, and one of his arms was across my stomach.
His other hand was under my chin like he was trying to hold me in place while he napped.
I didn’t know what to do. I tried to shift again, but the more I moved, the more tangled I became.
My heart was racing in my chest, and I could already feel the panic building. I could barely breathe with all of them so close, and I wasn’t sure how to get out of this mess without making it worse.
I didn’t even want to think about the awkwardness of the situation. How the hell had we ended up like this? I was sure I’d fallen asleep alone. Wasn’t I? I had to have been.
Greyson shifted in his sleep, and for a second, I thought I was about to get a face full of his chest, but then he just sighed and settled back against me, his head resting against my neck again.
He smelled so good, and that just made the whole situation worse. I was trying to keep it together, but the more I thought about it, the more my stomach flipped. This was... not okay.
I started to panic. My breathing picked up, and I tried to push Mason off me, but he wasn’t budging. He just muttered something incoherent and pulled me closer, like it was a damn cuddle fest.
“Come on, Mason, let me out of here!” I hissed, trying to shove his arm off me.
“Shh, love, it’s too early,” Mason mumbled, clearly still asleep.
“Five more minutes…” I didn’t have five more minutes. I needed space. I needed air. I needed—freedom.
I twisted my body in a desperate attempt to break free from the human knot, but Jaxon—sleeping like a freaking boulder—did not let me go.
Instead, he tightened his grip on my arms, trapping me further. I let out a strangled sound of frustration, trying to push him off with every ounce of strength I had left.
“Jax! Dude, get off!” I shouted, but he just grumbled in his sleep and muttered something about wolves and running. How was it even possible to sleep through this kind of mess?
That’s when Greyson decided to wake up. And by wake up, I mean, he decided to be an absolute p*****t.
I felt his nose nuzzle against my neck, his breath hot against my skin, and my heart dropped straight into my stomach. Was he scenting me?
Of all the damn things to do, he was sniffing me like I was some kind of treat. What the hell is wrong with them?
“Greyson, what the hell?” I gasped, trying to jerk away from him, but his arms were wrapped around me like a vice, and his body was pressed so close I couldn’t even wiggle.
“Mmm,” Greyson hummed, his voice low and playful.
“You smell nice, Christian.” I was dying.
This was too much. First, I was stuck in the middle of a wolf cuddle puddle, and now Greyson was making this whole thing ten times more awkward. I wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear forever.
“What is wrong with you?” I gasped, trying to shove him off, but he just chuckled.
“You’re not going anywhere,” He teased, tightening his grip on me like a giant spider in the middle of its web.
“Not without me, you’re not!” Mason suddenly said, pulling me tighter against him.
I freaked out. I was pinned between the three of them, unable to move, and I hated the fact that I was getting turned on by it.
And that’s when Jaxon, who had been holding my arms, decided to get in on the action.
He grabbed both of my arms and held them above my head like I was some kind of prisoner, his grip surprisingly strong for someone who had been sleeping so deeply a minute ago.
“Calm down, Christian, you’re fine,” Jaxon said lazily, clearly enjoying this whole situation.
“Fine? You’re holding me down, you’re all... scenting me, and I’m not fine.” I squeaked, still struggling.
“Relax, it’s just us, baby. It’s not like we’re doing anything weird...” Greyson murmured, still nuzzling my neck.
“Uh, I’m pretty sure you’re doing everything weird,” I shot back, trying to wriggle out of Jaxon’s hold.
“Get off me! All of you!” It was hopeless. I couldn’t move. I was trapped, and not in any way that I’d ever want.
If anyone could see us right now, they’d think I was being attacked by my mates.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of struggling and Greyson’s soft laughter in my ear, Mason muttered something about needing breakfast and loosened his grip on me.
Jaxon released my arms, and Greyson finally, finally, pulled his face away from my neck. I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or scream in frustration.
“You’re lucky you’re all cute,” I muttered, still trying to get some sense of my personal space back.
“We know,” Greyson grinned, letting me go at last.
I stared at them, utterly speechless.
“Maybe next time,” Jaxon smirked.
“We can make sure the bed's big enough for all of us.” I glared at him, rubbing my neck.
“Don’t you ever do that again.”
But even though I was pissed, I couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped me. Maybe this mess wasn’t so bad. Maybe. Because deep down, it was exactly what I wanted.
