(Christian) I woke up to sunlight streaming through my window. For a second, I just lay there, staring at the ceiling. Then everything from last night came rushing back. I shifted. I actually shifted. 'Good morning,' Kieran said in my head. 'Morning,' I thought back. My body felt different. Not bad different, just aware. Like every muscle knew it had done something important. I sat up and stretched. My arms felt stronger. My whole body felt more solid somehow. 'That's because we're complete now,' Kieran said. 'No more waiting. No more wondering. We're whole.'
