Confusion And Confusion!!!

Casey POV

When I reached home I saw my granny sitting on the couch waiting for me.

She seemed very angry, I could tell it through her facial expressions.

"Hey Nana!!!Why are you still awake???, I told you right I will return home late??,' I asked her.

"I know Casey that you told me that you will return late, sweetheart can you tell me what is the time??," She asked me with a calm voice.

"It's 5:00 in the morning!!!," I said with a soft voice while lowering my head.

"Yes Casey it's 5:00 in the morning and what time you promised me that you will be back home??," She questioned me.

"I said that I will be back home by 11:30pm," I replied.

"Casey, you were in the hospital right???," My granny said softly and in a concerned way while she got up from her seat and headed towards me with her walking stick.

"Yes Nana, I was in the hospital!!," I told her the truth because I cannot lie to my nana.

She headed towards me and touched the bandage on my head.

"You are wounded again Casey!!, This is not the first time you came home in this state!!!, You know I lost your mother whonwas my beloved daughter, I don't want to lose you" She said with a few tears in her eyes.

"Nana please don't cry!!, You know I don't like to see you crying!!," I said while holding her hands.

"If you don't like to see me crying, why do you do stuff which harms you and hurts you which indirectly hurts me. We are only two of us, why don't you search for another job. Even if your salary is less it will be enough for us. Why are you risking your life every time.." my granny said.

"How did you know that I was in the hospital??," I asked her because Monica didn't tell my Nana that I was in the hospital so how did she know that I was hospitalized.

"One of my friends' granddaughters is a nurse in that hospital, she called me and told me that your friends hospitalized you. They brought you there when you were unconscious and with a bleeding head. I was supposed to come to the hospital but the doctors said it was a minor injury and there was no need to worry. My friend's granddaughter told me that she will take care of you and there is no need for me to come to the hospital!!."

"I am so sorry Nana!!!, I didn't know that this would happen!!."

"I knew Casey!!That this would happen to you, that is the reason why I didn't want you to go there!!!," She said while holding my hands tightly and with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry Nana!!Please don't cry!!!," I tried to stop her crying.

"Casey these mafia and billionaire's are dangerous!!!They are capable of doing anything!!!Once I made a mistake but I won't repeat the same mistake again!!!." She said.

"What mistake did you make, nana??," I questioned her.

"Your mother married a guy who was related to that, she was in love with him but when he got famous in that world he left her and he married another woman, your mother was left all alone here with you. She was mentally not stable and depressed!!!. I couldn't see your mom in that state Casey!!!, I don't want the same thing to happen to you sweetheart!!," My granny said with tears in her eyes.

"I won't repeat the same mistake Nana!!I promise you but please don't cry, it's not good for your health!!!You will fall sick and I don't have anyone except you nana!!." I said.

"Casey, you will not put your life at risk again!!!You are not gonna get involved in this!!!Stay away from that dangerous world. That world is different, it's not for us Casey!!!It will kill people like us!!."

"Okay Nana, I won't get involved in this again!!, I will stay away from that world nana!!," I said in a soft voice while I lowered my head because I knew that I was lying to her again.

I had to find my dad to seek answers to my questions. I want to know why he left me and my mom and married another woman.

"Come on Casey, you need to have something, it's already morning so I made breakfast for you so that you can take your meds. Wait for me near the dining table, I will serve you your breakfast," saying that my granny headed towards the kitchen.

I took a seat near the dining table and waited for my granny.

She headed towards me and served me eggs and toast.

"Here take your meds and you will feel better!!," She handed me the meds.

"Go get some sleep nana you are awake because of me the whole night!!."

"Yeah I am feeling very tired so I am going to sleep for sometime so take care of yourself okay darling, have your meds and take some rest!!." She said.

"Okay Nana!!Take a rest and don't worry about me. I can take care of myself!!."

My granny then headed towards her room and I had my breakfast and took my meds.

I then headed towards my room and took out my phone from my hand bag.

I had got a few missed calls from Ryan so I gave him a call.

"Hey Ryan, you gave me a call??," I asked him.

"Yeah I wanted to know if you are doing okay and if you took your meds??," He said.

"Yes Ryan I took my meds and I am feeling better. Thank you for asking about me and dropping me to my place!!."

"Anytime Casey!!."

"I will talk to you later Ryan. I need to call Calvin and Monica as they must be worried about me." I said.

"Okay fine Casey take care." Saying that he disconnected the call.

I was not getting sleep so I called Monica and took Calvin on a conference call.

"Heyy Casey!!How are you doing???," Monica said.

"I am feeling better and now I am home!!."

"Yeah we know Casey, Ryan told us that you are back home. Are you happy now because you were stressed and worried about your granny!," Calvin said.

"Yeah Casey, how is your granny??She was tensed about you!!," Monica asked me.

"She is fine now and she is sleeping in her room. Can you guys come to my place, I wanted to ask you about yesterday!!!."

"Yeah we will be there in a few minutes, I will share with you what happened yesterday to us actually to both of us!!."

"Okay fine I am waiting for both of you at my place!!."

I then disconnected the call and waited for Monice and Calvin to arrive at my place.

I then took out my laptop and searched for a company which sends their agent's to collect information just like my company.

There were companies like that but none of them send their agent's to collect information about dangerous criminals.

After a few minutes my doorbell rang, I headed towards the living area and opened the door. It was Calvin and Monica who had arrived at my place.

"Come in and please be quiet because my granny is sleeping, I don't want her sleep to get disturbed!!."

"Okay fine Casey!!."

They both entered my house and headed towards my room.

I closed the door and told them to take a seat inside.

They sat on my bed, Monica carried my laptop and placed it on her lap.

"Why are you searching this ??," Monica questioned me.

"Nothing, I just wanted to know if we had competitions," I replied.

"No Casey, there is no company just like us. Our company is different so that is why it is doing well, We take the risk whereas the other companies don't take the risk. That is the reason why we are doing well and we are being paid well!!."

"So there are no companies like us???," I questioned her.

"Yes Casey there is no company like that!."

"Why did he say that he was there to find information just like us??," I said in a soft voice.

"What are you mummering Casey???," Calvin questioned me.

"I met a guy who was present in the same room which I was in and he was in search of the same file. When I asked him what he was doing there he told me that he too belonged to a company like me!!."

"That is impossible Casey!!There is no company like us!!He was lying to you!!."

"Monica it didn't seem like he was lying to me, his words felt so real!!!."

"Maybe he was not lying, he must be from another place and he got a task the same as us!!." Calvin said.

"Yeah Calvin can be right. It will then be difficult for you to find him, Casey!!." Monica said.

"Yeah it will be difficult for me to find him."

"Yes it will be very difficult Casey so it's better for you not to think about him Casey!!."

"It's difficult for me not to think about him, since I met him I cannot forget about him because I am attracted and impressed with him!!!, I cannot forget the words he said to me yesterday!!!,

I can't get him out of my mind!! He also saved my life. He could have saved himself but he didn't leave me."

"Casey it's impossible for you to find him because you don't know how he looks, what's his name, where he stays!!You know nothing about him!!." Calvin said.

"I don't think that he too will be

able to recognize you Casey!!," Monica said.

"Yeah you all must be right, I will try my best to forget about him".

"Yeah you should!!."

"Anyways forget about me, tell me what happened to both of you yesterday!!."

"I met a guy who looked a bit like Calvin, you won't believe me Casey!!He wore the same clothes like Calvin!!," Monica said with a confused expression on her face.

"It's weird that I met a guy who was also dressed like me, he wore the same color t-shirt, black mask and black, he was tall and he had a good body structure, he was taller than me."

"Okay so now I got it, actually it was not only the three of us, there were three more guys present there, one was with me up there the other was near Monica and the other one near Calvin!!."

"Yeah so there was a big confusion that occurred there because I addressed that guy with your name Calvin!!," Monica said while she looked towards Calvin.

"Same here I thought that the guy up there was you because you were dressed just like him!!."

"Who ever those guys were will always be a mystery for all of us because the third face was covered with a mask and we will never know their true identity and their motive to be there!!." Calvin Said.

"Yes you are right Calvin we will never know the reason why they were there!!," I said.

"Our Mission failed because we didn't get the file which contained the information about the mafia prince!." Monica said.

"I am sad because of that Monica, I risked my life and we didn't get any credits!!." I said.

"I don't know how our boss is gonna react to us tomorrow!!, I am afraid about what he is gonna tell us next!!."Monica said.

"I just hope he doesn't fire us all from the company!!."

"No Don't worry about that he won't be able to fire us from the company!!." I said.

"How can you be so sure about this Casey??," Calvin questioned me.

"Yes Calvin is right, how can you be so sure that he won't fire us Casey??Monica asked me the same question as Calvin.

"Ryan told me that he will speak to our boss and he will not let us get fired!! Because it was not our fault. On the contrary we risked our life!!!, So he cannot fire us!!Don't worry Ryan will talk to our boss."

"Yeah you are right Casey he will handle everything in the company. He is our friend too so he won't let us get fired!!."

"Okay Casey, we will take our leave now as you need to take a lot of rest as you are very tired," Calvin said.

"Yes Calvin, I am feeling tired, meet you tomorrow," I said with a smile.

Calvin and Monica left, I laid on my bed and drifted off to sleep
