I stirred in my sleep and slowly opened the lids of my eyes. I couldn't believe it, but I have never felt so peaceful. It was the best sleep I'd ever gotten in many years. I glanced around until my eyes rested on the reason of my peacefulness. Ava's mouth was slightly agape and her arms were wrapped around my torso. I gotta admit, it was the most comfortable and favourite position of mine from now on.
