Mia couldn’t control her laughter. She rolled on the floor as she cried from laughing too hard. Kadae was also roaring in laughter as well. Dylan stayed quiet as he studied Ava waiting to see her reaction. At first, she just sat there watching her friend rolling in laughter. Then the corner of her mouth slowly pulled upwards. Her sweet giggle filled the air and Dylan was instantly relieved. He couldn’t fully enjoy the moment until he knew she was okay with everything. The last thing he ever wanted to do was upset her.
“I can’t feel bad for him. He used to bully others as a beta. It just goes to show his bullying came from his own insecurities.” Ava got up and walked over to Dylan who scooped her into his arms. “I’m guessing I won’t have to worry about him anymore.”
