“I don’t think that we should reveal our all cards at once, Mr. King. He had deceived everyone so long, and did so many crimes to get whatever he desired. We should let him taste his own medicine first before bringing him down.” I replied to Marcus in a formal tone when he asked me to give all the information that I found against Nathan and Valerie to the police.
“What’s in your mind, Emma?” he asked me calmly, and I took a deep breath. I didn’t know how to explain him my grudge against Nathan and Valerie. He wouldn’t understand. “You can say tha… that I sympathize with Sylvester, and wants to take revenge for him,” I replied to him calmly, but he narrowed his gaze on me, making my heart skip a beat.
