The following days were amazing for me, as I walked around in my house, which was formerly Alex’s house with a smug look on my face that no one could wipe off my face. Alex was still oblivious to how poor he was and that he was living in my house on borrowed time. My plan was to let him have this week to do whatever he wished, and I was even willing to allow him to parade being the boss of everything and everyone when I was actually his boss.
