SABINA’S POV
I was so bored at home and it was only the second day of my long suspension at school. I still hadn’t heard anything from Alex or about him. After my attempts to call Mateo for a feedback were unfruitful, I decided it was best I go to his house and find out for myself exactly what was going on.
I woke up that morning and bathed preparing for what could possibly be the worst news of my life. So far, everything I knew about Alex’s disappearance was what Mateo told me and it wasn’t much. I had been going on his word and hadn’t confirmed anything to be true, for all I knew I was being fed a bunch of lies. And for all I knew Alex was at home with his true love and had just ghosted me, for all I knew he had only disappeared from my life but was still very much present in his home.
