Marcus was cremated and I got to take his ashes with me, having the urn with his ashes in my possession made me feel a lot closer to him. I felt like I had finally gotten the closure that I needed and I could now move on without any guilt. I wasn’t sure if I would’ve been able to live the rest of my life knowing that Marcus died in my place and I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye to him. By helping me get a chance to say my final goodbye to Marcus Kate made up for all the things she had helped Alex do to me and she was now forgiven.
