“Hey baby” I greeted Sabina with a kiss as she entered the house. She had insisted that she drives herself today because she wanted to pass by some place. She was carrying an overnight bag that made me wonder what was inside and how long she would be staying.
“What do you have in there?” I asked
“Just clothes, I will be staying here until Sunday. So you have me all to yourself for 3 nights straight” she said and it was perfect because there was a dinner I had to attend the following day and would have loved to have her beside me.
“That’s great, that means you will escort me to this boring business dinner I have to attend” I said
“if it’s boring then why are you going?” she asked
“Protocol, plus you will be there to keep me company” I said
