After I dropped Arianna home and I was on my way to Alex’s house I couldn’t help but think back on my last conversation with Marcus. Although he hadn’t told me much, he had told me that Piet was making a mess of everything? That conversation had me wondering what was stressing Marcus so much that day when I went to see him.
Did Alex really hate Marcus so much that he was determined to make life a living hell for him? After taking me from Marcus under the pretence of being my mate he still wanted to go ahead and take everything that had Marcus’ name on it, it was as if he was trying to wipe Marcus off the face of the earth in a very literal way. He wanted no trace of Marcus to be left behind.
