He decided to just put it all on the line. He knew what he wanted, knew what Creed wanted, and she was sitting right in front of them. He was more than a little shocked when Creed asserted himself completely and spoke directly to Wynta. There was no stopping it, it seemed, and Jared did try, but Creed wanted to talk to her himself. Show her how he felt, and that was all there was to it.
It appeared Creed also didn’t want Wynta to have any doubts about them, and what their intentions were. It was two very different things: to have Jared tell her how he felt and then to have his wolf, Creed, tell her as well. That showed that he and his beast were aligned to the same thoughts, in what they wanted. That being her.
