Barbara came to Nick’s room and found that he was packing his duffel bag.
“Are you going somewhere? When will you be back?”
“I am going back to California. I don’t know when I will be back,” said Nick and Barbara said,” You are leaving me on the cruise where we were supposed to celebrate our engagement party. What is going on Nick? Is this something about that woman who was here named Isobel?”
“Yes. It is something about her. And about the engagement I don’t know any longer Barbara. It was a courtesy I was doing for the sake of your dad and helping him out but I don’t think it is a good idea that we be together any longer.”
