Waiting with no answers was scary and irritating all at once. She didn't know if James was alive, or is Stephano was. She also didn't know exactly what James was doing if he was alive.
Riley felt like a sitting duck waiting for the predators to come along and attack. She had this gut feeling that James was still alive, and that is what scared her even more.
Riley was scared to take a step out of the hotel room, she feared what was to come, and she hoped Stephano was still alive and breathing. Her eyes closed, she missed him. Every time she sealed her eyelids closed, all she could see was him smiling and laughing.
