The first thing Riley noticed when they got back to the house was the fact that Stephano walked with a limp. It wasn't anything major, but it was still slightly noticeable if truly paid attention to.
"Are you supposed to be on bed rest?" She asked, wrapping her arm around his waist. Stephano gently pushed her off because he knew she was trying to help him out. He looked down at her and smirked before shaking his head. "I don't do bed resting."
Riley, being the stubborn thing she was, gripped tighter onto his waist and helped him up the stairs. The more he tried to push her away, the tighter her grip became. He chuckled before swooping her body into his arms, carrying her up the rest of the steps.
