[Anna] When my eyes fluttered open, there was plenty of sunlight in my room and I knew it was late. There was a different kind of pleasure in waking up without an alarm on a weekday, knowing you had nothing to do. I despised life like this but after three years of rigorous work even on weekends, you learn to appreciate the free days.
