[Anna] Later that night: I hated loud music. Reading about that 2 A.M. party life in books and watching it in movies seemed like quite the fun, but when it came to actually enjoying myself in a dark club with blasting music, more often than not, I chickened out. But with this being my last night in Paris and Mia insisting on celebrating it with partying in an elite bar somewhere, I had to come. And now, I regretted it. Stirring the drink in front of me with disinterest, I sighed. I really needed to be more outgoing. I felt like a sadist right now, plopped in the corner while dancing music played in the background. I wish I could be a little more fun. Or a little less fond of spending my nights curled in my blanket at home with hot tea and a good book.  But here's something I could
