"Brother!"
Hannah screamed as she spotted the pan on the stove engulfed in flames. Even I was taken aback when the fire erupted suddenly, sending me into a panic.
"Get out, Hannah. Stay outside!" I urged, quickly pushing her out of the house, fearing that something might explode while I was clueless about how to extinguish the flames.
Hannah obeyed immediately and rushed out, just as Clark arrived at the scene.
"Uncle Clark, help my brother!" I heard her cry out in desperation.
Without missing a beat, Clark rushed to my side, pulling me away from the kitchen.
"What are you doing?" he asked. But before I could explain, he dashed back into the kitchen and shut off the stove, successfully extinguishing the raging fire in the pan.
"Are you trying to burn down the whole house?" he asked
