“What do you mean?” Meredith frowned. Raven blinked and was halted. It took a few seconds before he realized the last thing he said. He quickly averted his eyes.
“Never mind what I said,” Raven said with finality. And thankfully Meredith did not push that topic anymore.
Their conversation turned to something else as they continued to travel. Raven's sight just stopped the mansion from outside the carriage. His attention was focused there causing Meredith to follow his gaze.
“Oh. It seems that we’re finally here,” she announced.
