“What else do you feel?” Raven asked in immediate attention. His heart suddenly leaped in happiness for an unknown reason. He leaned forward from his seat and reached for Meredith's both arms.
Meredith's eyes widen in fraction. Then she suddenly looked confused at the sudden change in his behavior.
"W-Well...nothing else?" she answered, a bit lost to what was Raven trying to imply. She stared directly into her eyes. And Raven could see that Meredith was telling the truth.
He was in so much hope earlier. But after hearing what Meredith said, it was like Raven's world suddenly crumbled. He let go of her arms in disappointment. And Meredith inevitably noticed his reaction.
