"Gabriel, I am afraid we are going to have to let you go." I stare up at my boss, Jim, in disbelief. I didn't even have time to sit down before he was calling me into his office this morning.
"Let me go? What the hell does that mean?" He looks a bit upset before leaning back in his chair with a sigh.
"You failed to report you were arrested for a felony assault charge and another arrest for threatening your wife, son and his therapist Gabriel. You know the company policy. You must self-report that. It's an automatic suspension if you don't. The fact you failed to report two arrests means termination. These are clear rules for employment here."
