"I'm sorry. Did you say her office was broken into?" Ali stares up at me her face panicked. I sit up quickly grabbing my phone from the nightstand. It's only 7am and we were sleeping when her phone started ringing. Felicity has been staying with us the last two nights. She ends the call her voice shaking. "Granny's office was broken into. They've been trying to call her Ryker and can't reach her. I'm her emergency contact on the alarm lease."
I brush my hand through her hair making her look at me. "Let's get dressed and you wake Felicity. While you do that, I'll make a call to a friend at the police station." She nods gripping my wrist.
