As the man shook the hand of Mazuri, she realised that his hand was as cold as the hand of a dead man. She had been told that some spiritual men and women in the land of Okwu had died and refused to leave the planet Earth. At a point she has asked her mother to know if those men and women as they were called were actually spirits but the mother said they were neither spirits nor humans rather they respresented deities that had decided to sustain their existence on earth even after their demise.
