I take a deep breath as I look at Marcella and her beloved Adrian lying on the hospitals beds. We wanted to make sure that they are healthy before Edwin takes them to their home.
“What does the doctor say?” Elijah asks wrapping his strong arms around me and places his chin on my right shoulder. I placed my hands on his.
“Marcella is fine, but he wants to keep Adrian for a few days since he was brought back from the dead. He wants to make sure there’s no side effects” I said. I feel him nod on my shoulder.
