I open my eyes and look around feeling a little disoriented. I sit up realizing I was in the room I share with my mate. The room door bursts open and my mate rushes to my side.
“You’re awake” he says looking me over. I can see the relief in his eyes.
“Are-” I stopped talking because my throat was dry. He quickly grabbed a bottle of water and helped me so I can drink.
“Thank you. Are you okay?” I asked looking at him.
