I open my eyes and see that Elijah in in bed with me. His arms wrapped around me. I look up at him and see he’s still sleeping peacefully. I reached up to touch him but I stopped myself and slowly and quietly got out of the bed. I changed my clothes to work out clothes, then put on my shoes and put my hair up in a messy bun. I walk down stairs and saw Zack ready.
“Hey, you ready?” he asked.
“Yeah, let’s get this over with” I said. He hands me a pear and a bottle of water.
“Are you okay?” Zack asked.
“I don’t know” I said honestly.
“Talk to me. I’m your friend” he said and I nodded.
