I walk to the nursery and see my daughter awake. I smile and walk towards her watching as her little arms and legs move while giving me a toothless smile.
“Hello, my beautiful princess. What are you doing awake?” I asked picking her up. She moved her little legs and arms making me chuckle.
“I see you have a lot of energy right now” I smile and take her to the changing table and change her diaper before putting some lavender lotion on her.
“That’s how. Does that feel good?” I asked.
“Agoo” she says and I laugh.
“That’s good” I said putting on her pajamas and picking her up. I sit on the rocking chair.
