I look at myself in the rearview mirror. I'm here at Kai's pack to have dinner with his parents and to be honest, I felt a tremor of anticipation, a mix of awe and nervous excitement. I mean these are the Lycan king and queen... the parents of my handsome mate. The castle itself was a sight to behold, its dark silhouette against the twilight sky, a testament to the power and majesty of the Lycan royal family. I saw the front door of the castle open and Kai walks out with a huge smile on his face and I swear I felt all my troubles and nervousness melt away. Kai ever the gentleman, opened the car door for me, his gaze lingering on my face. I smiled and got out of the car.
"Hi beautiful" he smiled, pulling me into his chest and kissing my lips. I swear, every single time we kiss it
