Kimmie slowly pushed the door to the hospital room open and then grimaced when she didn’t see the man, she expecting to be waiting for her. The bed was empty and there was a nurse standing next to it, a frustrated expression on her face staring angrily into space.
“Um, I’m looking for my husband.”
“Tall guy, dark hair, brown eyes and shitty attitude towards medical staff?” The nurse questioned with irritation.
