Following the service, Sienna spent a few minutes with her mother’s body before it was loaded to the hearse which would be taking her to the cemetery. Learning how Alvar had managed to get his cousin’s remains back and had arranged for her mother to be buried as part of his family in a Catholic cemetery, made her feel this was the right decision and what her mom would have wanted.
“Are you okay, my love?” he asked as the car pulled away from the back door to circle to the front of the funeral home where a procession would follow the hearse to the cemetery.
