Kimmie walked into the office spaces below the condominiums where she and Lyra were living and frowned. Darya, Magda, and Dimitra were all hunched over a small table. She looked to Darya, “hey did you talk to Lyra this morning?”
“No. Why?”
“I knocked on her door and there was no answer. We were supposed to grab coffee this morning. I thought maybe she was waiting for me down here.” She checked her phone again and saw she hadn’t replied to her texts. “It’s so weird.
