Kimmie was standing in the waiting room with Darya who was waiting for news on the progress of Kostas’s surgery when Darya grimaced.
“I thought they were going to whatever hidden lair in the middle of the Pacific their overlord calls his fortress of solitude.” She was looking past Kimmie’s shoulder. “What is he doing here?”
