Tyler’s P.O.V.

I wanted to punch myself. What was even I thinking? I ruined all my chances with Gwen by all my own stupidity. Grace was a good dancer and Gwen???? I didn’t know what to say. I was stupid, fool, arrogant.... I just wanted her to talk with me. Any kind of conversation…. So, I tried the most foolish thing in the world. I tried to hurt her ego by saying that she couldn’t match Grace.

All I knew was that Gwen was far better than Grace. Both were opposite personalities and Gwen had a character that totally lacked in Grace. What I was going to do now? I ran my fingers in my hair and pulled some.

“AAAAAahhhhhhh…. Stupid…. Stupid…. Stupid Tyler”, I was cursing my own self. What I did was stupid, but why did Gwen accept the bet. Why did she put herself in this s**t hole? Grace was a good dancer and Gwen was only a nerd with an interest in technology. She won’t be able to stand even 2 minutes before Grace, 10 minutes were more than enough.

“Hey Tyler”, I heard Neil and rolled my eyes. I ready myself to be strangled by Neil. “What are you doing, here?” he asked me while panting a little. I was sitting on the bleachers on the ground. The school was going to over soon and then Gwen would be doomed for eternity.

“Shouldn’t you be in the gym right now?” he asked me accusingly and I huffed. I looked at him with cold eyes and he glared at me.

“Yeah… Yeah.. I know that I messed up this time badly”, I said to him in an irritating tone.

“Badly????? Don’t you think it’s worst??” he exclaimed while crossing his hands against his chest. I sighed again.

“I know… and …I … am sorry…I tried to stop her… but…”, I looked around helplessly. Grace was the mother of all evils on earth and there was no way to save Gwen now.

“Come on… let’s go.. we can’t do anything for Gwen.. still, we could be there for her”, he said to me in a defeated tone and I lowered my head. I was not ready to see Gwen all shattered and broken again. I didn’t know why on Earth Gwen accepted that bet and put herself in this situation. I sighed and stood up from my spot.

“Let’s go”, I said to him in a lower voice and he hummed.

The gym was completely packed and everyone was cheering for Grace. It irritated me more. We went straight to the spot where our team was standing. Everyone shot daggers at me and I lowered my head again. It was my fault that everyone was here to see Gwen losing to Grace.

“What the hell were you thinking Tyler?” Jack shouted at me and I glared at him. He didn’t avert his gaze from me and now we both were eye to eye.

“Chillax guys…. The next 10 minutes will be a fun”, we both snapped our head towards Tony who had a mischievous smile on his face while looking at Gwen. “Are you out of your mind, Tony?” Neil asked him in an irritating tone and he smirked without averting his gaze from Gwen. “I am completely in my mind and know the result very well, Neil”, he was totally calm that made me suspicious.

Neil and Jack looked at me with confusion and the same went with me. “Did we miss something, Tony?” Jack asked him this time.

“Yeah…. Completely?” he raised his brows for a second while smirking again. My heart started thumping when someone announced the bet and now Grace and Gwen was in the middle of the Gym surrounded by the whole school.

Grace started dancing with the number “hips don’t lie by Shakira” and yeah… I could say that she was a good dancer. She was doing hip hop and her moves were…. She impressed me. I had seen her dancing quite a few times but she was doing well right now.  She moved her hips in every seductive way with the music and there were so many OOhhhh and Ohhhhs….

I looked at Gwen and to my surprise, she was looking bored????? What was she??? She was not bothered by the way Grace was dancing right now. I looked at Neil and he was enjoying Grace’s dance. I bumped my shoulder to him and he gave me a confused look. I signalled him to Gwen and his expressions were as same as mine.

Grace completed her number with a fine move and stood proudly in between the Gym. Everyone cheered loud for her. Now it was Gwen’s turn. The problem was that Grace would choose the song to whom Gwen had to perform. I was hell nervous now.

Suddenly the whole gym went silent and everyone looked at Gwen shocked. Gwen removed her hoody. She had worn a pink crop top and now her all curves were on display here. She had a perfect body with the perfect amount of flesh needed for every curve of her body. Even Grace looked at her like she had grown two heads now. Gwen was looking sexier than Grace even in her baggy pant.

“That’s like my baby”, Tony chirped and we all snapped our heads towards him. He was smiling ear to ear and when he looked at us he winked.

“You are going to explain this”, I gave him a stern look and he replied, “There will be no need after what you are going to witness now”. His statement was so full of mystery and I hate mysteries.

Grace played “On the Floor by Jennifer Lopez” and I saw Gwen smirking with a mysterious smile on her face. Then… the whole gym went silent again. Only the music was booming the whole gym. Everyone’s eyes were glued on Gwen now. She started moving her body and she started with a summer salt with one hand.

“Yes”, Tony again chirped and but I didn’t give any ear to him this time. She was dancing so smoothly and all her moves were so clear and she was so light on her feet. Grace was standing aside with wide eyes and opened mouth. With every beat, Gwen finished her every move with so grace that no one could match her. Every inch of her body moved with the beat of the music. It was nothing but pure dancing.

The whole gym boomed with cheers of the students as soon Gwen finished her part with a double summer salt. It was louder than before. Gwen gave a dramatic bow to the whole crowd and they all cheered for her more aloud. Grace was fuming in anger and her face went dark. The last part of this bet was a duel. I was sure now that Grace was now going to play fair the last part.
