We are in a restaurant, and Dany and I want to celebrate because tomorrow she will start her new position.
We walked together, but I could feel a lot of stares at me, and it made me uncomfortable.
"You are driving them mad, girl," Dany commented while laughing.
"I don't like the attention." I sighed, shaking my head.
"You'll have to get used to it. Look at you, you're gorgeous."
I made a noise of displeasure.
"I'll take care of you, Anna," she said, touching my shoulder.
"Cheers to that!" I laughed, raising my glass of wine.
We clink glasses as we enjoy delicious Italian food for dinner. We ended up talking about her Adonis. Even if she denies it, I know she's in love with him, and I just hope it's mutual. I avoided talking about Sebastian, and my friend knows
