Three months later . . .
Ondrea focused more on her healing. Finally, the wheelchair was taken away. She started to walk again just in time for her college graduation. It was a learning process for her as Ethan helped her learn to drive again.
“Mum, I’m leaving,” said Ondrea. She had her sling bag on and a book in her hands.
“Are you driving or taking the subway?”
“Subway, mommy. Can you drop me off at the station?”
“Aren’t you sleeping here?”
“No, mommy. I promised Kate I’ll be sleeping over at her place.”
