Detective Martin Callahan and his partner Detective Ted Kleiner were going to Schumer Medical in Tacoma, Washinton, to visit Ondrea when Josie called Callahan.
“Detective Callahan, you gotta get here. Please, get here now!” said Josie on the line with her trembling voice. She was speaking in such a rush that Callahan only understood ‘get here now.’ Then she heard a hysterical voice screaming in the background. He briskly turns on his siren to get to SchuMed as quickly as possible.
“Hey, old man! What’s the rush?” asked Kleiner.
“That son of a b***h found, Eya!” Callahan replied in madness.
“Why breakneck? We can call a backup, Martin.”
“Yes. . . yes! Call a dispatch right now. He’s tormenting that poor child.”
