I woke in Jake’s arms. I didn’t want to move, but I didn’t have long. I silently slipped out of the bed and downstairs to my room. I sat down and wrote Jake, Ally, Luna Cooper, Misha and Shaun, and Mum letters. I gathered the things that I had already packed, taking them down to the lobby.
