I was relaxing in my room. Wide awake after sleeping for most of the day. I was daydreaming about the kiss that I had shared with Jake before he had left. I still didn’t really know what came over me to grab him and kiss the way that I had. My thoughts turned to the conversation that i had heard just after waking up. I wanted to know what it was they were talking about. What was it that Jake needed to tell me? I let myself hope for a moment that it was good news. Maybe he had decided that we should get to know each other better before making a decision about rejection. Wait, did I even want that?
