I slept very well last night. I felt sure that I had gotten through to Jake. I planned to make some calls today to find a pack willing to take in Holly. Unless the council decided to take her with them, of course. There was a part of me that thought it would probably be easier if they did. Of course, I wouldn’t say that to anyone. Emma was still mad at me this morning for upsetting Jake in the first place. She thought that I should just accept Jake and Holly being mates. She would come around, though.
