I felt her soft fingers gently brushing my cheek. Lifting my head, I gasped as my eyes met hers. Her eyes were a deep teal. They were her wolfs eyes. They quickly settled back to her usual shade of light blue/green. I exclaimed in joy, thanking the Goddess for her waking up. I couldn’t stop the tears from flowing down my face. She wiped them away and gave me a small smile. I hugged her to me even tighter than before. I was afraid to let her go. Afraid that once I had told her everything that she would never let me hold her again.
