“I didn’t think I would be back home so soon.” Pete stood in front of the gate of his parents’ house. The gate was closed but he could see the building towering above the brick wall surrounding the entire area. “You were gone a few months. That’s not so soon.” Vee told him. Pete shook his head before he looked at his friend standing by his side. “I haven’t been gone even a year, so, yeah, I am back too soon.” Pete argued with him. Only a few months ago, he left this place, which made him feel like a burden. His parents loved him. He knew it but he couldn’t handle their gazes. Father usually behaved coldly, like there was nothing wrong with Pete. His mother was a different story. Sometimes she behaved normally, like nothing had happened and Pete was just an ordinary healthy boy. But somet
