(38) Gift Part II Maex I carry my mate towards the altar where her mother is the only one left standing. The others are sitting on multicolored carpets on the sand, all eager in sharing this moment with us, there are a few similarities of this ceremony with our modern one. I walk her down the aisle in my arms and she tries not to hide her face in my chest. She barely meets anyone’s eyes though. I can’t help but smile at her adorable ways. Her crutches are left behind as a chair is waiting for her in front of her mother who is acting as officiant of the wedding.
