"Mama…"
Neo suddenly calls out to me in a sad hoarse voice, it almost sounds as if he's about to cry. They've been quiet since we arrived home, but hearing them sound this way was quite alarming for me.
Troubled by his voice, I laugh to lift the mood, "Yes sweetie?"
There's a long pause right after.
He's hesitating, and so is Ash who seems to cut eyes with Neo who couldn't care less about Ash.
"...Who's Linda?"
"What!" My world seems to have stopped for a moment right after I heard this question.
I can hardly believe my ears as I scoff, hiding my worry and fear.
Why? Why are they bothered about that woman and how do they even know her?
"Who's Linda, mama?" Neo asks once again.
"Neo!"
"Are you going to abandon us, mama?" Neo begins tearing up as I embrace him tightly swaying him
