While keeping to the shadows, I kept my eye on the cabin, watching for any movement. I didn’t see any, but there were lights on, letting me know somebody was inside.
At one point, I thought I heard what sounded like a woman crying, but I couldn’t be sure. What I was sure of… was the familiarity of the cry, making me think my mind must be playing tricks on me. Could it be possible, I wanted to see Audrey and hear her voice so badly, it made me hear the sound of her crying?
