It was great to see Sadie’s eyes light up with excitement when I told her that she could choose whatever bed she wanted. She went with a princess-themed frame that looked like a little pink castle, and I was happy to purchase it with a light pink mattress that matched.
Sadie also picked out a little white nightstand and asked if she could paint flowers on it. I thought it sounded like fun, so I was quick to jump onboard with the idea.
After paying for the bed and a pink toy chest along with a matching dresser to go with the nightstand, we left the furniture store and headed straight to the local home improvement store. Since there was already going to be a lot of pink in her room, we picked out a lavender shade of paint for her walls along with a small set of paints to use
