Alberto
“Hi, I’m Dr. Jane Claire. I also happen to be Alberto’s classmate.” The doctor introduced herself and Jazmine greeted her with a warm smile. This was her first check-up and to say she was nervous was saying it lightly.
“Please come this way..” The young doctor pointed to the bed beside her table while Alberto helped Jazmine on it.
“You ready?” She asked Jasmine before settling on her chair near the Doppler machine and when she got an approval nod from her, the doctor pushed up her shirt to reveal her now slightly showing belly.
Alberto smiled down at Jazmine and reached out to take her hand in his comforting hold, drawing small patterns with his thumb on the back of her palm. He was aware that this was all very new to her and she was a nervous wreck from this morning.
